I am ecstatic to announce that I will be coming home this summer to work alongside Michele at USF! I just got the job about 20 minutes ago. It’s nowhere close to the BART, so I’ll have to talk to Jason and Tanya about familiarizing myself with the San Francisco bus system - but the position comes with room, board, a plane ticket out there, and good pay to boot! Hard to beat, indeed.

Mel - my first day of work is June 1 and I'll be there until August 7th... but then I'll be flying up to Washington to be in Axl's wedding. When will you be in WA and CA????

So I am anticipating that I will leave for CA during the last week of August or so. So, sounds like Axl`s wedding takes place during the time I`ll be in Auburn?? That would be so cool, I feel like I haven`t seen you in ages =)

Sad that you can't be together for your anniversary. I can't believe it's only been three years. It feels like you two have been together for always. Not that three years isn't a long time. It just seems like it's been longer.
Posted by: Jolie on February 12, 2004 09:13 AMWell, the plan was for him to stay for the year, but the job he found couldn't give him a visa, and it's more difficult for US citizens to get them in Japan so it didn't work out. Right now he is studying for his real estate brokerage license though. He will be here for a visit for my birthday though at the beginning of May, so we're looking forward to that. And my mom is coming to visit at the end of next month, I'm excited!
