distractions are always nice

PURPLE
Purple: Yours is a rare aura. The rebel and
nonconformist, you don't care what other people think
and are often considered shocking and
outrageous. You see life from a different
perspective than most people you know, but you
are completely at peace with your beliefs. You
are intuitive and like to explore. You can be
compassionate and are prone to temptations.
Secret emotion: Aggression and Imagination

What color is your aura?
brought to you by Quizilla

This quiz is inspired by Jason R's page (where I stole it from) and the fact that I've spent the last 2 hours taking and reading about the stupid MBTI. I miss the good ol' days when my biggest responsibility involved making sure my kid didn't choke anyone during kickball.

Yellow: You are very in touch with your inner child. Fun loving, carefree and optimistic, you are playful and will do what you can to help others. It is all about laughter and being free and spontaneous. You love nature, people and animals. You are intelligent, open-minded and reflect positive energy. Your weakness is procrastination and planning. Secret emotions: Idealism and Excitement

my favorite thing about this quiz is that the sentences don't really make sense. for instance, "In my life, spirituality is... just not interested". Like spirituality feels my life is somewhat blase. I was yellow, by the way. Michele, have we ever come out the same on a quiz before?

Blue: You live through your emotions, intense highs and lows. Life, for you, is all about love - giving love, getting love and sharing love. Honesty is important to you, but sometimes it is difficult to be honest if you think it may hurt someone's feelings. Blue is deflective. You turn attention away from yourself to others and often neglect your own needs. Secret emotions: Suspicion and Sensitivity

And, incidentally, I am ENFP.

You are definitely a purple... =)

Wow, I have to say that I am most impressed with this particular quizilla quiz so far. A+ for accuracy all around.

Mel, it's funny that you are an ENFP. I won't know for sure what I am until Wed., but my housemates and I are guessing ENTP. I'm kind of bored with all this personality bullshit, but my housemate LOVES it... so it's been an ongoing topic of conversation.

Mel! I demand a response to Erin Miner's tagline to you in her last Milan e-mail. (Sorry for everyone else who is reading this and doesn't care/doesn't know what I'm talking about). IF you have significant updates, we expect you to bring them to threequarters.

Wow, I think I am agreeing with you being ENTP...my friends and I when were younger were really into personality tests, and we might have even done it in school once - every time I`ve taken it it`s been the same so I guess they knew what they were doing!

As for the tagline, I think the only one for me has been regarding the fact that I had to (very sadly) ditch out on EM because CJ and I had been tentatively planning on doing a Thanksgiving rendevous in Milan so we could go visit her, but I have since found out since I`ve begun working in my school that I really can`t miss any days that classes are scheduled, which they are during that time because of course, Japanese don`t celebrate T-Giving (or even eat turkey for that matter...) so I will be having many classes. Right, that was kinda long.

The wedding tagline, was not for me, if that`s what you were wondering...?

Incidentally, in Japan there is saying that women are like Christmas...they are no good after the 25th...so if a women is unmarried and over 25 it is very sad. Isn`t that horrible?

Posted by: Melanie on September 7, 2003 07:26 PM

so...erica...you've got what? 5 weeks?

Posted by: michele on September 7, 2003 08:13 PM

Oh yeah, just to clarify, it`s not Christmas, it`s Christmas CAKE. But Ms. Dobney, don`t worry, I bet you`ll still get eaten....

Anyway, who needs Thanksgiving off when we have such zany holidays as `Respect for the Aged Day` and the Autumnal Equinox?

Posted by: Melanie on September 7, 2003 10:57 PM

i actually love the myers-briggs test. i am an INFP, which i think is very accurate for me :)

Mel - Thanks for the updates

Erica - pay no attention to that meanie Mel. I'm sure lots of people would like to eat you. =)

Jason R - So interesting that you are an F, and not a T. I would have guessed T, but what the hell do I know. I don't even know if I'm an F or a T. I guess we'll find out come Wednesday.

i hate thinking and logic and all of that stuff. remember how two semesters of calc followed by linear algebra killed me? yah :)

Posted by: jason r on September 9, 2003 08:35 AM

No way, I was being totally honest when I said I bet Erica will still get eaten! Really!! I`m not a meanie.....take it back =(

Posted by: Melanie on September 9, 2003 09:11 PM
